The closest I've ever been to pulling threat in recent memory is LK25 tonight, and that was in P3 and tank just pulled it back off me and proceeded to outthreat me. Threat is generally not an issue. HOWEVER, this does not mean that the talent is useless simply because you do not overtly notice its effects. It's better to have the reduced threat than any other talent + increased chance of being face on the floor doing 0 DPS.

The increased range is absolutely crucial. Sure, you may stay in range 80% of the time on fights (and no, Devastation, you are not always in range despite what you say), and that is a generous assumption. Even given that, the time it takes to either run those extra yards, or be forced to re-adjust in a "static" positioning environment (I kill Ice Spheres on LK25), you will loathe to be without the extra range.

Just because you don't notice a difference visibly i.e. your spell is either red for 'out of range' or it's in range, does not mean it isn't affecting...

Yeah you are over both the crit (~950) and haste (400) soft caps. I was just suggesting that adding a bit more haste might help since after the soft crit cap I believe haste is better than crit.

Starfire still benefits from haste after the soft cap (and wrath sometimes too) and imo casting those starfires a bit faster especially with all that movement in ICC has to be good. May not make a huge difference but just thought I'd mention it.

And yes still go for orange gems where the socket bonus is good.

The nerf bat has started, I really dont know of any moonkins who would be using this glyph even after the hugh buff. so blizz nerfing it has just put the final nail in the coffin for that glyph and no moonkin is ever gonna use it.

Well here is the only thing I would look at.

Look setting aside the t10 legs and getting the crafted legs, Haste + Crit ftw, You would have to make up for the hit loss however this can be done easily with the crafted boots as well. Its not going to make a huge difference really. You would prolly want to look at the total changes to your sp / haste / Hit / Crit to do this however. This is basically the setup I am ruining on my druid right now and enjoy it. I'm right at the hit cap and it works well. You can take a look at it here:

My numbers are about the same but I have lower trinkets, You may see a little bit of a boost but I'm not sure if its worth spending the gold on it.. However if your like me you prolly have nothing to use frost badges on now. Only thing I can say really. But I'm a haste junky.

Yeah, it's probably out for single-target. Still probably worth it on fights where you'll get to Starfall multiple targets. I'll have a spreadsheet up presently to play with (linked on my guide).

The minimum GCD is 1 second, and you can't cast spells at a higher rate than that.

I'm hoping that they keep our current spirit to spell power conversion, and add the spirit to haste version as well. That would mean that spirit:hit doesn't need to be 1:1 for it to be decent, and at the same time we won't cap our hit insanely easily (which we would if we had all the spirit on our leather gear that a resto druid would want).

I'm thinking that it'd be wonderful if spirit could convert to 50% spell power and 50% hit rating. But that's probably wishful thinking.

Just like too point out, that glyph of focus, starfall AND barkskin is great depending on your healer.

I personally dislike the innervate glyph as your gimping a great dps CD which is starfall. (might be an ok glyph if you run full pvp gear..)

Cyclone, 3 seconds left charge up SF, thats how i personally played it in arena OR, i positioned myself in the open so i could get their dps on myself + healer out into the open. Its tricky when you first do it, but after a while u get used to it. Eclipse shouldn't be ditched from my perspective, its your only true RNG burst that can kill someone. As you probably noticed as well, alot of pvp moonkins have 30% + crit with close to less then 150 haste (out of form btw), if not 0.

@Accelsia, 5s was the only arena where moonkins could free cast with close to 0 resil

I just think we need to have our dots scaled with haste. And maybe have our insect swarm prolongued when a wrath hits the target, similar to moonfire and starfire.

The woven death legs are infinitely easier to get since it can be made, plus no competition obviously as it's not a drop. But yeah, like the others commented, the Heroic Kilt is a tad better overall.

My main conclusion from this is that things aren't as bad as they seem: I am doing 7k on Festergut . . . and if 7k-8k on stand and nuke is ok then that's ok :p I don't have BiS by any means yet (blergh trinkets, wrists and dagger coule be improved etc.)

Am disappointed by Saurfang though.

I'm sorry I guess I'm really showing how much of a newbie (hopefully not a noob!) I am - I'm not sure what else we can read from these logs?

So Tuesday night comes along, and I am so ready. I log on to my computer, and the CHKDSK handy dandy disk check pops up upon booting up. The same thing happened to the previous two hard drives when they were going down, and my suspicions are confirmed when trying to run WoW freezes the computer to where a reset is necessary.

I ran to Best Buy and got the hardware and the software necessary to ghost my hard drive before it completely failed, and I couldn't help but to check the clock as I sped home to try to make the raid time.

6 hours later and my new hard drive with my old contents was completely set!

So I made this.

We get a little more than +100% for crits presuming the typical gear and talents. In the posted log, his MF crits average +105%. I compute the 2PcT9 as contributing 197721.6 to his damage.

But we want to convert that to your gear and your rotation to compare against Languish. He got 8 more ticks of MF than you did, and if we subtract them off, it'd be 177594.4. Your gear has you doing 7% more damage with every spell than he does. If you could retain that and have 2PcT9, that puts it back to 190k.

I personally miss the 2PcT9 mega moonfires, but that's the way of things with set bonuses.

Play around with gear sets see what you can do for hit and go from there. Yes the legs have a good amount of hit and make it easy to cap but you dont necessarily need to use them, Also it depends on which cap you are going for. I have found a gear set that includes the plaguebringers stained pants, lady's bracers, tier gloves and rep ring for my hit rating. At the 264 level the pants are almost identical to the tier pants except I trade haste and crit around. At heroic 277 level they are slightly better as they are only 10sp less but offer 3 gem slots instead of two.

There are a few other ways to get the hit and really you should look at all of them and see which one will be best for your situation.

My guild is 11/12 hardmodes and I'm retiring Lherin in 2 weeks. I was planning on retiring after we killed LK on hardmode, but the game just isn't as fun as it used to be for me.

It is 8 yards but spreading 10 yards is probably for the best. As when you get vile gas and start to puke you wander around a few steps. I have gotten puked on one of the few times I had to stand at range as I was 8 yards away and the person with vile gas took a small step in my direction and puked on me. 10 yards adds that extra wiggle room to prevent that.

I'm lucky and 90% of the time I get to stand in melee range but I'm capable of playing at range.

I've actually been very happy with Nibelung. My valks seem to have a very high crit rate and often hit for 2.5k or higher. Often I will have at least 2 valks up pushing my burst damage to almost 14k dps while both are active.
