i just got this. ran a few tests on heroic dummy, usual rotation as if i were in raid (poping trees adn starfall). no other buffs but impff and motw.

it accounted for 4% to 4.3% rare cases 5% of my dmg. i know that will be higher in raid, with the higher crit from, tow, kings and what not. but honestly as a personally opinion....for the final set bonus of the final tier of an expansion...it seems pretty underwhelming.

I've been keeping track of it in recount as well and it's almost always at 4-5% for me. I think that's pretty damn good, for damage that wasn't there at all before. It does more damage than my moonfire or my treants and I don't have to do anything extra for it. I love it. I haven't lurked around any other caster forums to see what their 4 set does for them though.

I think in Graylo's blog he said that set bonuses are worth about 3% usually? Not sure, I'd have to dig around for it, but if so than this is exceptional, imo.

Don't forget that you are giving up 2T9 to get that 4T10 so factor that loss into your calcs.

havent done much calculations but what i mean is. back when we had 2pc t9 and 2pc t10. the crits from moonfire would look awesome. this...u can barely see at times, and i get this odd feeling...that something is wrong >.>

on a sidenote, the languish debuff would have a higher duration.

I definitely miss the moonfire dot crits. Are we the only class now without them? Say that all set bonuses are a flat 3% dps upgrade. Then the only thing that separates them are the stats, and in that case T10 is a big upgrade for me. I noticed a difference in my dps upgrading from 2/2 to 4 set.

my going from 2/2 to 4pc wont be much of a stat increase because unless i get tokens next week from saurfang or putricide(if my guild does them, we're a little low on numbers for 25man atm cause a heap of people left/got kicked from the guild) to upgrade my 251 pieces to 264...

I got the 4th piece yesterday, seemed to be 4% of my dps also.
Haven't time to test in raids yet though, hopefully it will be abit more then thanks to raid buffs.
