I decided to post this guide for those who don't use the forums very often and don't understand some of the normal terms used. Yes, I know some things are basic for some, but for others this is new.

Tbh- To be Honest
Noob- "misunderstanded" individual

AH- Auction House
DPS- Damage per Second
DPM- Damage per Mana
HPS- Heals per second
HPM- HEals per Miana
IS - Insect Swarm
SF- Starfall
MF- Moonfire
DoT- Damage over Time
atm- At the Moment
Fps- Frames per Second
Lag- Latency
Adds- Additional Mobs
GC- GhostCrawler (Blizzard Employee)

GC can also equal noob depending on your feelings about him :P

A friend of mine had a mother write an angry letter about her son's grade. She basically blamed my friend for not forcing her son to do well in her class. Among the numerous grammatical errors was this jewel (which your joke reminded me of), "... and I don't want you to miss understand my intention..." Now we were wondering if it was Miss Understand or if it was a miss for understanding. Needless to say, after the letter, it became clear why the son was struggling =]
