That build you linked Is pretty solid, and should work for 95% of all situations. I have been thinking of doing something like that my self. The only real question is how often do you have to aoe things? Is your guild still running togc? If not then you shouldnt have to worry about a hardcore aoe spec. If they are then it may just be a matter of re-specing before anub after everything else. Though you may not need a Ton of aoe, just enough and that can be helped with some glyphs.


Really it mostly depends on what your guild is doing and what they need you to do.

The other question is, why are you switching your off spec to resto?

We're working on ToGC 25 every week, but we go in and do ICC. I want to switch my OS to resto because of some fights where we need an extra healer, for 10 mans, and for getting into heroics faster. I'm tired of always being overlooked cause I'm purely DPS, but my guild's taking our 2 resto druids with balance OS for the 10 mans and I want to be more viable.

Then you are on the right track with that spec, it should work for most situations. Though it's a bit light on aoe so you may have to consider picking up an aoe build for heroic anub but really that's the only fight right now that needs super heavy aoe.
