Need to do something with those Name tags on your pitbull/stuf frames. Not gonna lie, it kills that ui :(

Yeah..I was trying to figure out if there was something else you could do with them, but really it got to getting rid of them the whole time. I at least like having target names so I can see the name of the person I'm targetting, but with the way they are setup, I'm not sure how to incorporate name texts on those frames.

I took a longer look and there's a lot of small detail stuff that would clean it up, make it easier to read, and limit the potential distraction though.

1. Health tags on pitbull overlap your portraits. You can correct this easily by removing portraits, but if you like having the pictures there, limit it to just current health and percent if you can. I know PB4's text editing is lua code so you need to be familiar with that to do it.
2. Your S&A texture makes the thing unreadable :) Change it to match your PB4 and Skada bar texture.
3. On your chat frame, remove the border and make the background transparent. This gives the illusion that your nice art panel is the chat box.
4. I'd recommend hiding all your mounts, professions, bag bar, micro menu and form bar and have them set to show on mouseover. Persnonally I have my forms bound to my F keys so I just disable mine all together, but my reasoning behind this is that if it's not absolutely 100% important to show during a fight, then it can be hidden (more details in my own little philosophy thread here).
5. I'm extremely OCD about it and it's hardly noticeable unless you nit pick the UI, but your Damage window and I'm assuming Threat window just barely overlap the border of the other nice art panel. Make them just a bit smaller on the width. Like I said it's barely noticeable except to probably me :P

Try those out and see how those work for you. Visualizing it in my head it gets much cleaner, but see what works for you and what doesn't. :)

Edit: Oh, and I don't know if it's possible with Skada since I don't use in game meters on any of my toons, but if you can, the title bar make the background transparent and move them up to the top of the panel. Gives the same illusion as your chat box. If it's possible, if not, they are fine.

only makes it undreadable for starfall xD i can read everything else, and starfall is meh anyway...

i'm gonna take the portraits off, uses more memory than necessary having them on...

everything else i like the way it is, works well for me and i'll probably tidy it all up eventually but at the end of the day im the one staring at it all the time (unless my guild puts me on new boss kill SS duty)

I like it Kavian. Love your texture. Maybe clean up your SCT some so it's not so spammy :)

Me likey waaay macho Kavian. Are you using quartz for your cooldown bars (Starfire Eclipse, treants, etc.)? I will be back later to pilfer from your UI and addons.

Also LOL at FriendsWithBenefits, lolThreat, tekticles, and AreYouThreateningMe

<---- realizes he just needs to suck it up and buy something bigger than a 19" monitor. **sigh**

Thanks!
The texture I use for everything is "Smooth v2". And I'll definitely take your advice on the battle text.

Thanks for the compliments! Feel free to pilfer whatever you like. :D

Quartz: Procs takes care of Eclipse, Trees, and Lust. It's a spin off of Quartz: Eclipse which the author stopped updating with 3.3. I just disabled all the addition ability it tracks from default.
I'm currently comparing lolthreat and AreYouThreateningMe. I think I'm going to stick with lolthreat, mainly because it doesn't stay on my screen when I'm not in combat, or not in a group.

Also _Corpse, Bagnon, loltip, tiptop, tomtom, wim, and all modules of skada apart from Damage are all disabled. Mostly because i chose an alternative addon and forgot to delete them from my addons folder. Bagnong Forever and Bagnon Tooltips i have enabled though as they work with Combutctor.
Align, _npcscan, and Wowhead looter are all disabled unless specifially need them.

I just added Ara Broker Reputation too, so i can remove my reputation status from below Pitbull. And I'm going to move my pet frames over so they're centered with the screen. I just upgraded from a 19 inch monitor and keep forgetting about them since they only ever appear when my trees are out. :-P

Hmm, my Smooth v2 isn't that nice...must be the color scheme on top of that that you work with. I'm using Minimalist iirc atm.

I'm going to make some adjustments to all my UIs here over the weekend. I need to make some adjustments to my raid frames on my druid, action bars on sham and hunter, and need to make an action bar adjustment for my rogue iirc too. I'm also leveling a DK tank, and am working on a tank centric UI as well. I'll post them in my UI corner thread in the next few days.

I added several of the addons you listed this weekend to my UI. I really like QuartzProcs, so much so that I disabled SquawkandAwe. I also added StatBlockCore in place of TitanPanel. Yes I'm sure Wisp likes this improvement!

The only thing I had problems replicating was this:

By trouble replicating do you mean you couldn't figure out which addon they were?

The minimap is Squeenix.
The 50% icon is AreYouThreateningMe? which i have since gotten rid of.
The boss health panel is DXE(Dues Vox Encounters, replaces DBM)

Also, post a screenshot. I'd like to see what i inspired =P

I think Mishti is more referring to the info above squeenix.

That's StatBlockCore. I assumed since he mentioned it in his post that it wasn't what he was talking about.

The first block is picoFPS.
The second is the blizzardclock.
The third is Tekability.
The fourth is Minimap button Frame.
And the fifth is Raidbuffstatus.

I'm having a problem with Blizzclock block, every time I log or reload my UI, the clock becomes off center and the background widens. It fixes immediately by unchecking and rechecking the Show Text box, but its annoying doing that every time I log in. Did you have this problem? Do you know how to fix it?

It's actually doing it with all of the Blocks except Coordinates.

How it should be.

How it is after logging in.
